Can I sell cross stitch patterns made with Xstitchify?

Yes. Standard and Pro let you sell finished crafts, digital patterns, printed charts and pattern books, including through print-on-demand services such as Amazon KDP. You must have the rights to the images and designs you use.

What file formats can I export patterns in?

All plans include PDF and PNG export. The Pro plan adds SVG export, which is useful for creating mockups, resizing charts for print, and integrating patterns into design software.

Will my patterns have Xstitchify branding on them?

Standard PDFs have no Xstitchify logo or footer credit by default, with an option to include them. Standard also includes preset PDF colour themes. Pro adds your own logo, custom colours, footer text and instructions, or you can choose to export without branding. These options apply to PDFs.

Can I use my own photos to create patterns for selling?

Yes, as long as you own the rights to the source image or have permission to use it commercially. Xstitchify converts your image into a cross stitch chart with DMC thread matching. Copyright of the source image remains with its rights holder.

How does Xstitchify compare to PCStitch or WinStitch for selling patterns?

PCStitch and WinStitch are desktop applications with one-time pricing ($49-89). Xstitchify is web-based and works on any device including iPad and Mac without installing software. Standard includes commercial use and unlimited PDFs; Pro adds SVG export, custom PDF branding and more AI pattern generations. Backstitch is available on all plans; French knots, half and quarter stitches require Standard or Pro.
